Lauren Butz, Attorney
Lauren Butz is an associate attorney at Hirshon Lerner Hutchinson, with her practice focusing on business and commercial disputes, construction litigation, and real estate litigation. Representing clients of all sizes, Lauren has substantial courtroom experience litigating matters ranging from small tort claims to complex commercial litigation.
Before joining HLH, Lauren honed her litigation skills at a law firm in Portland, Oregon for nearly six years, where she focused on business, real estate, construction and intellectual property disputes. Her path to becoming an attorney included a stint as a law clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice, where she worked in the Financial Fraud/Consumer Protection section and gained a unique perspective on the importance of protecting consumers’ rights.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2021, where she served as Notes & Comments Editor for Lewis & Clark Law Review and also participated on Lewis & Clark’s Jessup International Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Lauren worked in digital marketing for several professional service firms in her hometown of Portland, Oregon.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys working on her latest DIY home project, gardening, and spending quality time with her husband and their two orange cats.
